What’s it going to cost me to have you guys come out?

We charge a flat fee of $97 for a service diagnostic call. Every service call is different, so once we get to your house and break out our tools, we’ll be able to run some tests and tell you exactly what is wrong with your system and what it will take to get it up and running again. If you choose to have us make the repairs, we will apply the $97 to the cost of the repairs.

What will it cost to repair my A/C unit?
Without knowing what’s wrong with your particular system, it would be impossible to answer that question. Sometimes all that is needed is the $97 +$5 for gas to blow through the line. If you’ve got a bad compressor, though, that could cost quite a bit more.   We’ll check to see if your system is still under warranty to help as much as possible.

How soon can you get here?
We have quite a few trucks and a large team willing to work long hours, so we can usually be there on the same day you call us, if that’s what you need. Of course, there are days when it seems like every A/C unit in Clearwater has given up the ghost on the same day. At those times, it will take us a little longer to get to you.

Are your repairmen licensed contractors?
Even better, we’re licensed mechanical contractors. That means we can work on any type of mechanical system without limitations. The advantage to you is that if you have a natural gas furnace, for example, you don’t have to call us plus a plumber (an extra service call and fee to you). We can do it all ourselves.

How do I know if I should replace my A/C unit or repair it?
Modern air conditioning systems generally have a life expectancy of 12 to 18 years. If you’ve been good to your system and had annual check-ups and maintenance work done, that can keep the efficiency and reliability of your system going for years. But if it seems like your system is working harder every year and not quite putting out the same cool air it once did or if you find yourself having to call for repairs a little too often, it’s a safe bet that your system needs replacing. The good news is that the new A/C systems are far more cost-effective and efficient than the older models, so you’ll likely see some savings in your monthly bill.
